Spanish bookmakers will fight against match fixing

Bookmakers in Spain are required to combat match-fixing.

At the moment, it is known that the National Gambling Regulator of Spain (DGOJ) has obliged absolutely all bookmakers who operate legally to join the program to combat sports match-fixing.

Betting operators should soon connect to the specialized SIGMA service. This program is global, and its work is aimed at investigating betting markets. It receives and processes information about suspicious bets on various sporting events.

Bookmakers in Spain must promptly report such bets on this portal. In this way, local authorities will be able to achieve greater control over illegal betting, as well as protect the integrity of Spanish sport.
