Station Casinos opens a casino resort in Las Vegas

Operator Station Casinos recently officially opened the Durango Casino Resort in Las Vegas. It is already open to visitors, and its opening was complemented by festive events and fireworks.

This 15-story resort is located a few miles southwest of the Las Vegas Strip. It became the operator’s seventh facility outside the city’s main gambling street. By the way, the project is more focused on local residents, and its construction cost was $780 million.

The resort occupies an area of 29 hectares. Station Casinos acquired it back in 2000. There is a casino with slot machines and table games, a sports betting room, restaurants, business meeting rooms, free parking, and a 200-room hotel.

By the way, Durango became the first new casino to open in Las Vegas since June 2021. That’s when Resorts World Casino opened. Station Casinos is a famous operator that was founded in 1976. It started out as a regular bingo hall but has now become a major operator. At the moment, he has employed more than 11,000 people.
